Terms of Use

Last updated: 5 August 2026

These terms cover TestMyPaint accounts, credits, uploads, AI-generated renders, and Studio tools. Our Privacy notice explains how personal information and room photos are handled.

Who we are

TestMyPaint ("we", "us") is operated by Bora Suda, sole proprietor, Canada. Questions about these terms can be sent through our support form.

What the service is

TestMyPaint generates AI-modified visualizations of rooms repainted in colours you choose. Renders are previews to help you decide — they are not exact colour reproductions. Screen colours vary, lighting affects results, and you should always confirm any colour with a physical swatch before purchasing paint. We display a measured colour-difference value with renders as guidance, not a guarantee.

Accounts

Some features require an account (email or Google sign-in). You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be able to form a binding contract to purchase credits.

Credits and payment

Renders consume credits. Credit packs are one-time purchases processed by Stripe; prices are shown before purchase. Credits are tied to your account, are not transferable, and do not expire. Because credits are redeemable immediately for digital services, purchases are final to the extent permitted by law; nothing in these terms limits statutory rights that cannot be waived in your jurisdiction. Where a render fails on our side, the relevant credit is automatically returned per the rules shown in the product.

Your photos and content

You keep all rights to photos you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store and process them solely to operate the service (generating renders, showing you your history, quality assurance). Photo retention periods and our quality-review practice are described on our Privacy notice, which forms part of these terms. You must have the right to any photo you upload; do not upload photos of identifiable people without their consent or content that is unlawful.

Your renders

You may use renders you generate for personal or commercial purposes (for example, in client proposals). Renders are AI-modified images; you are responsible for how you present them, including any disclosure required in your jurisdiction when using altered images of real property commercially.

Acceptable use

No abusing free tiers, probing or disrupting the service, reverse-engineering, scraping, or reselling access. We may set rate and volume limits, and may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may modify features, pricing for future purchases, or these terms; material changes will be posted with an updated date, and continued use after posting is acceptance.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. You can delete individual renders or a room photo and its renders from Studio, and can request account deletion through our support form. We may terminate accounts for breach; unused paid credits on a lawfully terminated-for-breach account are forfeited only where the law permits.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
